Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami got a reprieve, as he was cleared by the anti corruption unit (ACU) of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) of match-fixing charges leveled against him by his wife Hasin Jahan. Shami will be now reinstated in BCCI central contracts and will be handed the B category where he will get Rs 3 crore annually. Earlier, ACU was making its investigation on the charges pressed by his wife of taking money from Pakistani girl named Alishba sent by a UK based businessman ‘Mohammad Bhai’.
